The problem
Marking your gear is required, but most people use a plastic tag and a marker. After a month in the sea it is illegible, which in practice means the gear is unmarked.
The fix
The text is printed as raised relief in ASA, in a contrasting colour against the base plate. It cannot be scrubbed off because it is part of the part. The hole is sized for 6 mm rope, and the edge is rounded so it does not chafe.
Sold in sets of ten, all carrying the same details. This is the first product ready for sale.
